Malachite is a copper carbonate hydroxide, where it derives its distinct opaque green banding. A stone of protection, abundance, and creativity, and powerful in assisting through transitions and times of turbulence. Very supportive of the heart chakra, malachite may be used when dealing with trauma of emotional origin. May assist joint pain. This stone is also said to be beneficial for female problems including PMS, childbirth, and menopause. Malachite assists development of spiritual awareness.
